Concern information helpdesks provide reliable information that can
make a real difference to the quality of life of older people who
want to remain as independent as possible but need to know what
services and support are available.
Many families and carers of older people
can experience difficulty in finding information to help them care
for their relative or friend. Our helpdesks
will be able to provide reliable up-to-date information on how to
check benefit entitlement, where to find help in the home,
residential care, special equipment etc. You will also be able to
find details of local social clubs for older people and
support services that could put you in touch with other people and
help to beat loneliness.
This friendly and
confidential service is available by calling into The Beehive in
Grays, or by telephoning 01375
